Maria DePastino

Maria DePastino graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2019 and continued to earn a Master of Education in Special Education in 2021. During her graduate studies, she served as a success coach for first-semester undergraduate students, providing academic support to facilitate their transition into higher education. Following her graduation, Maria held a temporary position as an Academic Advisor for TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. After gaining several years of experience in higher education, Maria returned to the University of Pittsburgh in June 2024 as a Student Success Specialist for the Master of Data Science with SCI.
