Full-time Director of Constituent Relations joins SIS staff
We are pleased to announce that Amy Herlich has been hired as the Director of Constituent Relations for the School of Information Sciences (SIS). She will manage SIS’ alumni relations, fundraising, and stewardship programs. Monday, October 19th, is her first day on the job.
Amy comes to SIS from the Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A. where she served as Resource Development Associate. In this role, she solicited gifts, coordinated annual fund appeals, and developed and executed donor recognition plans. She also led the selection process, from inception to Board acceptance, of their first relationship management database.
Prior to serving as Resource Development Associate at the Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A., Amy worked as a Grants and Development Coordinator for the Inter-American Dialogue. In this role, she secured gifts for their first-ever gala, solicited corporate sponsorships, doubled Board giving, managed a large grants and contracts portfolio, and created and implemented strategic fundraising and stewardship plans.
Amy received her undergraduate degree in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from the University of Pittsburgh. She also earned a Master of Public Administration degree with a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from George Washington University.
Welcome to team SIS, Amy!
