Dominique Luster (MLIS ’15), curator of the Teenie Harris collection at the Carengie Museum of Art, worked on a team to create the documentary called, “Pittsburgh 360: Service & Sacrifice” that has recently won an Emmy. The documentary is based on an exhibition from earlier this year that showcased some of the Collection’s photos of African American soldiers during World War II. It tells the stories of black soldiers who fought for a nation that did not always fight for them.
