WESA, Pittsburgh’s NPR News Station, recently published an article titled, “Why Young Learners Don’t Always Go To Libraries For Books, And Why That’s OK With Librarians.” The story features an interview from Elizabeth Mahoney, SCI’s associate chair of the department of information culture and data stewardship.

The article discusses the rollout of the new curriculum for the Master of Library and Information Science degree program.
