Professor Peter Brusilovsky elected ACM SIGWEB Chair
Dr. Peter Brusilovsky, professor in the Department of Informatics and Networked Systems at SCI, was recently elected chair of ACM SIGWEB. ACM SIGWEB is ACM Special Interest group on Hypertext and the Web. The ACM SIGWEB Web supports the multi-disciplinary field of hypermedia and other network-based approaches to modeling knowledge, including the World Wide Web.
Brusilovsky has been a faculty member at Pitt since 2000. His research interests include adaptive hypertext and hypermedia; adaptive e-learning; student and user modeling; personalized and social information access; intelligent tutoring systems; and computer science education.
