Certificate in Telecommunications
The 24-credit Certificate in Advanced Study (CAS) provides personalized program of studies beyond the MST degree. The program will provide you with an opportunity to explore a specific field of interest or to update skills and competencies. Designed for people who do not wish to pursue the PhD degree.
In this quickly-evolving field, it is critical for professionals to gain knowledge of leading-edge topics and to update their skills to reflect the latest in technology and research. A CAS degree will keep your skills current.
Candidates for the Telecommunications certificate must complete the following requirements:
- A total of 24 credits in graduate-level courses acceptable to the advisor and passed with a grade point average of at least B (3.00 on a 4.00 scale)
- Fifteen of the 24 credits must be taken from among the approved courses for the MST degree program.
Course work must be completed within a period of four calendar years from the student’s initial registration in the certificate program.
